Vantage Media’s flagship publication, luxury lifestyle magazine Tempus, has been shortlisted for four awards in the prestigious event
Vantage Media is proud to announce that our flagship publication, independent luxury lifestyle magazine Tempus, has been shortlisted for four awards in the 2023 BSME Awards. This marks the fourth year running that Tempus has been recognised by the prestigious awards as part ofVantage Media.
Tempus editor-in-chief Michelle Johnson has been shortlisted in the Editor of the Year – Independent category for the third time, as well as receiving her first nod in the Editor of the Year – Specialist category.
Michelle says: “It’s an honour to be shortlisted in the BSME Awards, but for Tempus to receive four nominations this year is a fantastic achievement for our team.
“We’re proud to see Tempus continue to make its mark on the luxury sector, retaining its independent spirit and continuing to build on its amazing foundations, while putting fascinating interviews, exclusive features and powerful design at its heart.”
Ross Forbes, Tempus art director, has received his second nomination for Art Director of the Year – Independent, as well as representing the team for Cover of the Year – Consumer for the second consecutive year. The cover selected is the 10th Anniversary Edition of Tempus, which features our first virtual reality animated cover by artist Diana Tupilus.
Ross says: “Being shortlisted for my second ArtDirector Award by the BSME is incredibly rewarding and validates everything we’re doing to innovate the brand here at Tempus. Our design ethos is all about the seamless marriage of form and function, always aiming for contemporary elegance and timeless inspiration.”
The prestigious awards, created by the British Society of Magazine Editors, celebrate leading titles and talent within the publishing industry. This year marks the first time that Tempus has been nominated for multiple categories in a single year.
Vantage acquired Tempus Magazine in late 2018 with the aim of growing the title from a little-known watch and lifestyle magazine into a world-class publication. Since that time, the magazine has featured exclusive photoshoots with Aston Martin for No Time to Die, Bentley for the car marque’s centenary, and Oliver Cheshire for sustainable fashion, in addition to interviewing big names from the world of luxury – including Ryan Gosling, Lady Gaga, Daniel Craig and more.
Tempus is an award-winning luxury lifestyle magazine published quarterly by Vantage Media. It is distributed in five-star hotels, private members’ clubs and transport lounges (including BA Lounge at Heathrow T5 and the Eurostar Business Lounge) across London and beyond.
